1 Description and Scope of the Service
The Riart Portal is the official registry system that enables consumers to book accommodation safely by verifying the official registration documents, tax and licence records, approved contact lines and company bank IBAN details of bungalows, mountain houses and boutique accommodation operating in Rize and the Eastern Black Sea region.
2 Rules for Using the Registration Badge
Facilities that have been inspected and registered by the association receive an Official Verification Badge.
- The registry code and badge belong only to the business with an active licence; they cannot be transferred, rented or sold to another facility.
- Use of the registration badge on social media or printed materials by facilities whose licence has been suspended or revoked is unlawful.
- Criminal complaints are filed immediately with the prosecutor's office under the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237 against persons and businesses that falsely present themselves as registered with the association or use counterfeit badges.
3 Responsibilities of Visitors and Holidaymakers
- Before making a booking or deposit payment, visitors must always check the facility's registry record on our portal.
- Payments must not be made to personal accounts other than the verified company IBAN in the system.
- Unfounded, false or malicious reports and notifications must not be made through the portal. Those who make false reports are deemed to accept legal and criminal liability.
4 Obligations of Member Businesses
- Businesses undertake that the tax certificate, licence, address and authorised contact details they submit are always up to date and accurate.
- In case of any change of contact number, bank account or authorised person, written notice must be given to the association management within 3 (three) business days at the latest.
- The licence of businesses that cause harm to guests or damage the association's reputation may be revoked by decision of the association's board of directors.
5 Limitation of Liability
The Riart Association is not a party to operational matters between accommodation facilities and guests, such as service quality, cancellation/refund disputes or bad weather. While the association carries out registry verification of facilities with the utmost care, it cannot be held directly liable for the operational faults of facilities.
